In this paper, the phenomenon of light-driven diffusioosmotic (DO) long-range attractive and repulsive interactions between micro-sized objects trapped near a solid wall is investigated. The range DO flow extends several times size microparticles can be adjusted to point towards or away from particle by varying irradiation parameters such as intensity wavelength light. “fuel” photosensitive surfactant which photo-isomerized trans cis-states. trans-isomer tends accumulate at interface, while cis-isomer prefers stay in solution. combination with dissimilar photo-isomerization rate interface bulk, yields concentration gradient isomers around single particles resulting local (l-LDDO) flow. Here, extended analysis l-LDDO function introducing time-dependent development excess surface presented. It also demonstrated that generated any solid/liquid being more pronounced case strongly absorbing material. This has plenty potential applications since it makes type act micropump.
